George Williams founded Advanced Portable Roadway Ltd. in 2005 to leverage his 20 years of experience in the road industry. George recognized the need for a new portable pavement system designed specifically for the event, TV and film industries.
Our unique Portable Roadway system is light enough to be laid by hand, made from 100% recycled materials, and is stronger, tougher, more versatile, and better value than most any temporary paving system on the market.
The specs George gave himself were challenging ones:

Working with an experienced team of British designers, the product took shape. Grooves have been added for better grip, a unique overlapping locking system for seamless joints and recessed bolts for added security and strength.
